Have a Healthy Day!
Thank you very much.
Great interview with Dr. Christiane Northrup by Francesca Bastarache on Mother’s Day. Christiane emphasizes that more woman should become individuated and free themselves from the inaccurate beliefs and roles we take on which can keep us from becoming the person we truly want to be. Dr Northrup stresses many woman are not even aware that they are even doing this. Christiane points out that we need to take control of are own health and well being and steer away from beliefs that if my mother had a certain disease then I will eventually develop that disease because its just not true! The interview offers some great points and insight into Mother and Daughter relationships that woman should be aware of and consider.
Great interview wth Dr. Christiane Northrup. Chockfull of insigtful information about mother and daughter relationships. So complex and complicated and no other relationshihp compares to this one. As Dr. Northrup explains daughters/children lived and developed within our bodies before birth. Their very lives were dependent on us. This is how the realtionship begans. Very intimate, very personal. Trying to nurture and develop a small person along life’s way to be independent, confident and self sufficient is a awesome responsibility. I heard Dr. Northup repeatedly say, the best way to teach life lessons to our children is to be a “role model”. Like little ducklings, our children are very impressionable. They are looking, hearing, feeling and absorbing all our behavior and words and trying to process and assimilate all this information into their lives. WOW! Francesca and Dr. Northup discussed many other areas of mother/daughther relationships. The book sounds like a must read with lots more intricate explainations of this special, complex and ever envolving relationship. As usual, “Yes Francesca you did give us something to talk about” and I/we thank you!!
